    Big and impressive

    To get to the castle from the station you will enter the grounds through this gate, costs nothing an sets the scene for the castle (which you do have to pay to enter).

    Wonderful castle to visit!

    The Himeji Castle is unique among the many castles in Japan and is definitely worth the visit! It is extremely easy to get to-just a short walk straight out of the Himeji Station.
