Chinese Garden of Friendship

There are lots of steps up the walkway, but it is worth looking down the garden from above. It is a quiet retreat, a place to spend time mediating, reading or just sit down and “relax”. Take your time and enjoy the tranquility here. The $6 ticket is worth it. There is also a small cafe and souvenir shop.

Seeing these tranquil and relaxed gardens is a big surprise to discover in Darling Harbour in Sydney's inner city. It is a beautiful garden with lakes, waterfalls, pavilions and Chinese teahouses surrounded by plants, giving the impression that you can stay away from the bustling city.
