Glad i did it

Beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.
Rode up the Nevis Road as part of the Welcome Rock Trail system. Views over the sweeping vistas. Drove back down after. Road is not suitable in winter, has access to the Southland Ski hut though.

To get to the Nevis River from Garston and get to it as directly as possible, the Nevis Road is available. The street is rising relatively quickly and is good to drive, although it is not fix ...
