Relaxing square
This was the hang out spot in between museums. We enjoyed one of the cafes along La Rambla, then later grabbed a bench to watch some of the entertainment on the square.
Premier charming avenue

Very nice area
Way nicer downtown and ramblas area than I expected. Some higher end stores, nicer restaurants. I had overlooked figueres as a town, since I was going for Dalí, but I will plan to return.
Very Catalan
La Rambla was revamped several years ago and is a wonderful place with a big square with restaurants on two of its sides. Evenings see locals seated at the many wooden benches placed around La Rambla....
