Great park off season very quiet then in the summer can get very crowded but there's enough beaches to choose from love the nesting area and Meigs nature center

A nice place
Nice beach and grounds. Water is shallow. Pavilion is impressive with great views of the Long Island Sound. Lots of parking, changing facilities etc. price is steep for non Ct registered cars at 15-25...
very relaxing
I like that the beach is clean. There are VERY few rocks when walking out to the deeper water. Maybe just a little mass of seaweed. Someone did say they got stung by a jellyfish but I did not see any....
White sand beach
7.27.22 Something you get lucky and everything is perfect. The weather, the sand, the water. Today was that day. On the weekends the park fills up and many times it closes due to capacity. Weekdays ar...
