Wartook Reservoir

Nice volcanic lake but not much to see

Unless you are going specifically for a reason like water sports there is not much to see or do at this lake. It’s only a short drive up and there is plenty of parking but that’s about all.

It wasn't like i remember

I trekked the grampians about 20 years ago, and remember walking around the rervoir. now ther is signs everywhere, cant walk in some place. some areas blocked off . Feel so sad for the people who neve...

peaceful place to enjoy

huge expanse of water, lovely walk along the wall and around the area. Good place for a picnic, and people boating on the water

Quiet area good for a short walk and pictures

Reservoir / lake, has natural sand/mud to walk on, good for a stroll and taking pictures, no picnic tables or toilets though.

Peaceful and serene

Really quiet and peaceful. Found out about this place when spotting it from one of the lookout points. Was extremely quiet and peaceful - no swimming allowed though.
