Lovely
The peace and tranquility here was lovely. You can understand why Beatrix Potter loved it and spent time here. You can almost imagine Jeremy Fisher sat on a lily pad!

Circular Tarn walk
Lovely, peaceful circular walk around the tarn. Easy going and suitable for all abilities. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Beautiful little lake and walk with stunning views further up and a great bit of history linked with the famous Beatrix potter
Nice quite tarn
Lovely little Tarn on the way from Hilltop to Hawkshead. Well worth a stop for a few mins. Normally quite and the rocks make a good seat.
