I thought we were cool enough in Austin, but Knox's recent exhibition was really fantastic. I didn't expect it at all, but it was really good. We're not very interested in video equipment, but you'll like it here. To Buffalo, even if it's just a permanent collection; Evolution (Megaplex) 2010; it's worth it. It's a very good museum with abstract art on the lower floors. The statue outside is also very good. It's really good to have lunch at Schwabl's and come to this place to see it.
The Akg Art Museum in Buffalo is an outstanding art museum, especially for people who appreciate late 19th Century and 20th Century Art produced by European and American Painters.I saw fine paintings by the following European Painters;Eugene Boudin,Honore Daumier,Claude Monet("Towpath,Argentieul"),Pierre Renoir("Young Blue Nude"),Camille Pissarro,Gustave Caillebotte("Study For Pont D'Europe"),Hans Olde,Paul Cezanne,Vincent Van Gogh("Old Mill"),Paul Gauguin("Yellow Christ"),Pablo Picasso("Toilette"),Henri Matisse("Glimpse of Notre Dame,Paris"),Ernst Ludwig Kirschner("Portrait of Woman",),Max Beckmann("Hotel Lobby:),and Hans Hoffmann, among others.. I appreciated fine paintings by these American Painters;Albert Bierstadt,Robert Henri,William Glackens,John Singer Sargent,Georgia O"Keefe,Arthur Dove,Jacob Lawrence, and Jackson Pollock("Convergence),among others.I saw fine mixed media creations by Luca Samaras("Mirror Rooms"),Nikki Saint Phalle,Tom Wesselman,,and George Segal. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of this charming art museum off of Elmwood Avenue, close to Deleware Park.
