Music to the Deads
A beautiful statue representing a mother and her son was built at the end of the St. Nicolas Square and was originally awarded tribute to the deaths of the First World War.
The expression of civic deploration
The monument dating from 1925 is located at the end of the Saint Nicolas Square, near the tourist office.
It is the work of sculptors Louis Patriarche and Pekle Jean-Mathieu
In Bastia, on the St. Nicola Square, you will discover this bronze dead monument that was opened in 1920 to the memory of the war dead of 1914-1918.
