Nice stop on our way through the forest
Kids loved to climb into the old trains. The museum is free and worth a stop if you are in the area. A couple minutes walk away from the garden of butterflies.
Train Museum in Hamburg
For fans of old railways it's worth making a sprinkler in the locomotives in the woods. Access is only possible walking across the forest. Operations will be the museum of volunteers ...
Not perfect, but operated with much passion
A few enthusiasts operate a large locks with a view of 150 years of rail history. Entry? Free! Not every object is perfectly restored, but definitely worth a visit!

Here are old locks and wagons of the last decades, which are being adorably refurbished. This is very interesting for us, as here is also the lock that our father has driven.
