Interesting history of Kumara to Dargaville, small and compact litter museum take you back to the future. Friendly host, and watch out the undies history on the door!
Dargaville and surrounds are famous in NZ for growing kumara, be they red, orange or white. The sweet potato is a delectable vegetable that can be roasted, fried, boiled or steamed. I love kumaras.
