Full of elegance and beauty! A sense of peace swept over while I visited and was in awe through out. Be sure to dress modestly and keep a shawl/scarf on your head or bag. Would love to revisit!
I went there during Ramadan and there were still many people but it’s definitely worth going I would say setting aside 1hr is sufficient to walk thru the whole thingyou have to go thru a mall and also have to reserve online in advance

First time in the mosque, a very shocking experience
20230224 afternoon: 1. The “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque” is the largest and second largest mosque in the UAE and the third largest Islamic building in the world. It used 46 tons of gold and cost $5.5 billion for 13 years to commemorate the founding president of the UAE who died in 2005, Legendary figure Sheikh Zayed. The mosque is extremely luxurious, with the world's largest handmade Persian carpet, the second largest crystal chandelier in the UAE and many beautiful and valuable decorations. It is a landmark landscape that must be punched in the UAE tourism. ① Address: Sheikh Zaid Ben Sultan Street, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. ② Transportation: No bus, easy to stop by car. ③ peak season: no. ④ Time: 1 hour. ⑤ Note: Daily current limit, you need to make an appointment as soon as possible. 2. There are strict dress and behavior requirements for entering the mosque. There are signs at the security checkpoint that state the behavior norms for entering the temple: ① Women should wear headscarves, and men and women cannot wear short sleeves, shorts and skirts. ② You can't pose when taking pictures after entering the temple. ③ You can't eat. 3. Before entering the temple, you have to walk a long underground passage. If you are lucky, you can meet the shuttle bus. The shops on both sides of the passage are worth visiting. I saw tourists buying Arabian white robes and black robes to enter the temple to take a photo, and I wore Arabian white robes bought from the domestic Internet for 27 yuan. Also specially left a week of beard, very suitable for the scene, so that the return rate is almost 0. Up to the ground, the 2 and a half moon fountain in front of the mosque is a good photo point, but the photo effect is not good in the afternoon facing the sun. 4. After entering the mosque, follow the one-way route that does not go back, turn left and bypass the open-air square. The toilet passing by is recommended to go to the negative floor to see, because the toilet is next to the "clean clothes room", a round wash basin, which is a place for "clean body" (non-Muslim tourists do not need it) before Muslim worship. The uniqueness and beauty of the religious facilities are worth seeing, but the administrator sometimes lets tourists take off their shoes. The main hall is the chapel surrounded by a fence, which is accessible only when Muslims worship, and visitors can only take pictures outside the fence. 5, the mosque is large in scale, luxurious decoration, the four corners of the minaret gold is pasted, a total of 46 tons of gold, the building marble and white jade imported from Europe. The floor of the chapel is covered with the world's largest handmade Persian carpet, covering an area of 5,627 square meters, larger than the football field, and composed of 1,200 Iranian women over a period of 35 tons, a total of 2.2 billion knots, using 20 natural dyes that never fade, valued at $10 million; Overhead is the second largest crystal chandelier in the UAE (the largest in the Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace), weighing 9 tons, made by German companies, made of tens of thousands of crystals, brass and glass; The walls of the hall have 5 times of worship on the same day. In modern times, Muslims generally have jobs. It is difficult to worship in 5 times. 6. After leaving the mosque, you will pass a row of square pools, surrounded by the temple like the Husi River, the pool water is clear to the bottom, the small road between the pools is like a small bridge... The number of words is over, and the last picture continues
The Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is the world's largest mosque. The Zayed Mosque is luxuriously decorated and has a large area. If you travel here to visit, there are many requirements to enter the mosque. Tourists who do not meet are not allowed to enter.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the most luxurious mosque in the world, not the largest, but it is very beautiful, independent, low-key and luxurious, pure white and holy, all made of Han white jade, gem pattern embellishment, gold pouring. Tickets are free, the only thing worth noting is to follow the Islamic ritual law, girls need to package the strict, wrapped headscarf 🧕, at most can only show their hands and feet, face. It can be said to be the most worthwhile attraction in the UAE, very beautiful, worth a visit.
