How to use
[Install eSIM]
Install directly within the Trip. com app:
iOS users: Please ensure your Trip. com app is updated to the latest version and your iPhone system is upgraded to iOS 17. 4 or later, then you can install the eSIM directly within the app.
Install by scanning QR code/manually entering eSIM information:
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip. com APP order, and print it out or save it to another electronic device in advance. (iOS 17 and above systems and some Android phones can save the QR code image directly to the phone)
2. Open Cellular (iOS) or SIM card manager (Android) in Settings.
3. With the phone connected to the internet, tap "Add Cellular Plan" (iOS) or "Add SIM card manager" (Android), then scan the QR code to install.
4. If scanning fails, you can enter the "SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code" from the order voucher to install.
5. If steps 3 or 4 fail, your phone might be network-locked by your home carrier (unable to use other carrier network bands). You need to contact your carrier to unlock it before using the eSIM.
Set up internet access

1. Turn off the primary SIM card, turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable Cellular Data (iOS) or SIM card (Android).
3. Turn on Data Roaming.
4. If you still cannot access the internet after the above settings, please set the APN and restart your phone. See details below.
[About APN]
1. If you purchased an eSIM covering multiple countries/regions and cannot connect upon arriving in a new area, please manually switch the APN (normally it switches automatically).
2. Setting path: Cellular Number > Cellular Data Network, or Settings > Mobile Network > Access Point Names > Add.
3. Enter APN: mobile. three. com. hk/share. three. com. hk
4. Restart your phone.

1. The device supports eSIM functionality.
How to check: On the phone dialer interface, dial *#06#. Generally, the presence of an EID indicates eSIM support. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.

How to check: Confirm with your carrier whether your device is locked.

[Setting Up eSIM]
eSIM can only be installed under a stable network connection. Therefore, please plan the eSIM installation time reasonably according to the plan's validity period before departure (it is recommended to install within 6 hours before departure). Avoid installing too early, which may cause the plan to expire prematurely and affect usage.

If you encounter issues using the eSIM after installation, please contact our customer service for consultation. Do not delete the eSIM after installation.

Please ensure the "Data Roaming" option for the eSIM is enabled.
[Disable Roaming for Domestic SIM Card]
Before using the eSIM, please ensure that the data roaming function for your domestic SIM card is turned off to avoid high international roaming charges and data conflicts.
