Anonymous userJiuzhaigou is beautiful but maybe because we visited during winter in mid December and there was not much snow, so the scenery is not as beautiful as we seen on social media. After 3 or 4 lakes, honestly all looks same. We traveled almost 5 hours from Chengdu by HSR and bus, and stayed overnight. It’s a tired journey.

Anonymous userThe centre is large and easy to get around, and the shuttle bus is convenient, though it requires a small extra fee. However, the panda habitats were disappointing due to poor noise control. Many kids were screaming, and neither parents nor safety guards intervened. There was also construction work right next to the panda area, which is very unsuitable given how sensitive pandas are to noise. Better management of the environment is needed.

粉菠萝🍍🍍🍍It's well worth a visit. Looking down from the mountain, you feel inexplicably moved, both by the scenery and by the wisdom and creativity of the ancients, who have blessed future generations. Their love for their family and country is truly admirable and something to be proud of.

🦄 罗The Sanxingdui culture is unique, not belonging to the Central Plains culture of China; it stands alone, yet also incorporates elements of other cultures. The new museum is large, but the exhibits are somewhat homogeneous because the number of unearthed artifacts is still relatively small. We look forward to seeing more in the future.

M59***69I went to Chengdu after the Spring Festival. The plum blossoms near Du Fu Thatched Cottage were in full bloom, filling the air with their fragrance. I was pleasantly surprised to find that people born in the Year of the Snake received free admission. Chengdu is a wonderful place, and Du Fu Thatched Cottage is a must-see.

Anonymous userMount Emei is the sacred site of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, and it's worth a visit. The high-speed rail journey from the station to Leidongping takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes. After getting off, it's about a 30-minute hike (there are monkeys along the way) to the cable car station. The cable car takes 3 minutes to ascend the mountain, followed by a 10-minute hike to the Golden Summit. A visit to the Golden Summit takes about 1 hour. The road from Leidongping to Wannian Temple is under construction until the end of the year, so the bus service and the Wannian Temple cable car are suspended. Currently, only the Leidongping-Huanglong Visitor Center-Wuxiangang bus service runs intermittently, but there may be at least a 30-minute wait when there are few passengers. The journey from Leidongping to Wuxiangang takes about 2 hours. Arriving at the Monkey Nature Reserve in the afternoon, I didn't see a single monkey.

Anonymous userThe Wuhou Temple is definitely worth visiting. I went there with a sense of reverence because I love reading "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and admire Zhuge Liang. I saw the two memorials to the emperor, many rubbings, and statues of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, and many other heroes of Shu Han. The environment inside is also quite nice, and many tourists were taking photos.

Anonymous userThe Leshan Giant Buddha is definitely worth visiting. You can quickly see the other attractions; two hours is enough for the entire scenic area. There are many yellow taxis at the entrance. Remember the North Gate (entrance) and East Gate (exit). The North and East Gates are very close, about 300 meters apart, so there's no need to spend money on the shuttle bus. Remember to use reputable ride-hailing apps.

HINIDUMAVITHARANALAGEHESHINIANUTHTHARAHINIDUMAMount Qingcheng is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy nature, culture, and a peaceful atmosphere. Compared to many famous mountains in China, it feels calm and refreshing rather than crowded or rushed. The mountain is covered in lush greenery, and walking through the forest paths is relaxing from start to finish. One of the highlights is the Taoist culture. Temples like Jianfu Palace, Tianshi Cave, and Shangqing Palace are beautifully integrated into the mountain and add a quiet, spiritual feeling to the journey. Even if you’re not deeply interested in religion, the scenery and history are still very enjoyable. The trails are well maintained and suitable for most fitness levels. I recommend going in the morning for cooler weather and fewer people. Wear comfortable shoes and take your time—this is a place to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.Overall, Mount Qingcheng is perfect for travelers who want nature, history, and a relaxing escape from the city.

300***74For individual tourists visiting Huanglong, it's best to go up the mountain in the morning. By the afternoon, tour groups from Chengdu and other places will have arrived, so there's usually no need to queue for the cable car in the morning. However, when we came down the mountain, the queues we saw were at least one or two hours long.
