Worth a visit even though its not the official start of the Ice and Snow festival yet. It's indoors and gives a good glimpse of how they can shape ice into structures. Kids and adults have a fun time on the small slides! Was easy booking tickets on Trip app and scanning the QR at the gantry to enter.

The thrill ride was definitely fun! You could personally feed the tigers 🐯. When you climbed onto the feeding area, everyone on the bus gasped and snapped photos non-stop. The meat cost 20 yuan per piece, or 5 yuan for a bucket; you could return any uneaten meat. The only downside was that the park was quite small. It only offered the thrill ride 🚗 feeding area and a walking area to see the captive tigers and bears. Don't rush; a complete loop should take about an hour and fifteen minutes.

A scenic and relaxing ride offering beautiful views of the Songhua River and Harbin city. The cableway is smooth and well-organized, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. A great way to see Harbin from above, especially during winter.

Harbin Polar Park offers a variety of exciting performances, such as the beluga whale show "Heart of the Ocean," where trainers dance with beluga whales to form shapes like the "Heart of the Ocean," and in 2024, it was upgraded to incorporate traditional Chinese elements; the dolphin show combines 3D holographic projection with a surprise appearance by mischievous penguins; the sea lion and walrus stand-up comedy show is performed humorously by the "Northeast Comedy Troupe"; and the water dance show features ballet dancers and mermaids performing in the water, creating a stunning spectacle with lighting effects.

The grandeur and beauty of the buildings are immediately apparent from the fence surrounding the Harbin No. 6 Factory. Entering the first-floor corridor feels like stepping back in time to Europe. Climbing the escalator to the fourth floor is a bit tiring, but still worth the visit.

Volga Manor in winter was absolutely stunning for us southerners. The Russian-style architecture blended perfectly with the snow-covered landscape, making for incredibly photogenic photos. Definitely worth recommending.

Snow Town in China is a popular winter tourist destination with unique snow scenery. Its snow season is long, lasting from October to April of the following year, with snow that doesn't melt. Landscapes like "snow mushrooms" create a fairytale-like scene, even more enchanting at night when illuminated. However, Snow Town also has some drawbacks, such as relatively high prices, mainly due to the slippery roads and difficulties in transporting supplies during snowy weather, which is understandable. Overall, Snow Town is suitable for tourists with a strong desire for snow scenery, but advance planning is necessary to avoid being scammed.

The waterfall's diving show is quite unique. Check the schedule; it's worth seeing. If you're not going on a boat trip and just want to see the falls, you can walk there without taking the sightseeing bus.

Zhalong Lake Scenic Area is very large, and the tickets are cheap now because it's the off-season. However, it was really too cold. The red-crowned cranes weren't afraid of people at all; they would chase after you if you had food in your hand. The release was only for a short time, and I didn't even have time to take pictures.

    1. Fulfilled my "finding the North" dream at Beiji Village! In temperatures below -30 degrees Celsius, my breath turned to white mist instantly, my eyelashes frosted over, and the crunching sound of footsteps in knee-deep snow was incredibly atmospheric. I visited the northernmost post office, mailed a postcard with a special postmark, and the frozen ink in my fountain pen was hilarious. The Heilongjiang River's frozen shore faces Russia, and the snowscape was truly pristine and breathtaking! The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming, the heated kang (traditional heated platform bed) was cozy, and the stewed goose in an iron pot for dinner was both heartwarming and stomach-warming. The only downside was the long wait for the shuttle bus, and the lack of standing room when it was crowded, which slightly affected the experience. 2. I advise everyone not to just go to Beiji Village for the aurora borealis! Although I wasn't lucky enough to see it, the snow-covered forest and the "finding the North" ritual were totally worth it! The "I've Found the North" monument on the Arctic Sandbar is a must-see, the deer in the Evenki Reindeer Park are incredibly gentle, the birch forest is perfect for photos, and the water-to-ice effect was amazing – I got tons of likes on my social media! However, I have to complain about the duplicate charges. You have to pay extra to enter the Christmas Village after buying the main attraction ticket. The shops in the village are a bit chaotic, with many touts, and prices are relatively high. Overall, the scenery is amazing, but the commercialization and transportation capacity issues need improvement. 3. I have a love-hate relationship with Beiji Village! The advantages are stunning scenery, the air filled with the scent of pine, and frost that can stay on the branches for days. The sunset at Shenzhou Beiji Square is gorgeous, and the night sky is exceptionally clear. But the disadvantages are also obvious. The scenic area is too large, and there aren't enough shuttle buses. The southern bus is rushed, and you have to scramble to take photos. I even encountered a situation where the tram ran out of power and I had to get off halfway. The northernmost post office is packed with people, so you have to go early to send postcards. Everything sold in the village is pretty much the same, and the prices aren't reasonable. I recommend staying overnight to avoid peak times, otherwise you'll just be queuing. Make sure you're dressed warmly; use hand warmers on your phone to prevent it from freezing and shutting down!
