M86***60The Crescent Moon Spring at Mingsha Mountain is breathtakingly beautiful! The rolling sand dunes shimmer with golden light under the setting sun, and a camel ride through the desert is incredibly atmospheric. Crescent Moon Spring, like an emerald in the desert, is crystal clear and sparkling, perfectly complementing Mingsha Mountain. Every snapshot is a masterpiece—an unforgettable experience!

wjmwendyZhangye Danxia Landform is the only composite landscape in China consisting of Danxia landforms and colorful hills, covering an area of approximately 536 square kilometers (including the Qicai Danxia and Binggou Danxia scenic areas). Formed over 100 million years ago by the erosion of red sandstone, its peaks are steep and uniquely shaped. Must-see viewing platform: Qicai Rainbow Terrace, offering the best panoramic view. It is said that the best views are after rain, sunrise, sunset, and snow, due to the strongest color contrasts. The scenic area has frequent shuttle buses, making it convenient to explore. Walking distances are not extensive, making it suitable for people of all ages. The scenic area is relatively far from Zhangye city center, and shuttle bus intervals are infrequent. A taxi ride takes about 40 minutes and costs approximately 100 yuan. There are many guesthouses near the scenic area, providing convenient accommodation and dining options.

E34***86It’s worth it!! It’s my second time visiting. Event though i book 1130, we reached at 0900+ and able to queue and enter! For non mandarin tour, the group is MUCH smaller and hence you would be able to ask more questions. The gathering point is also different. The tour guide is professional.

Anonymous userRich in historical and cultural atmosphere: Jiayuguan Fortress marks the westernmost point of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Standing atop the fortress and touching the gray bricks, visitors can feel the profound historical ambiance. The museums and guides within the fortress also offer in-depth insights into ancient military culture and border history.

M39***13The scenery was so beautiful that we kept taking photos and lost track of time. Around 6 pm, we got off at the "Daydream Cinema," but there were no more buses or minibuses, and no staff members were around. No one had reminded us of the last shuttle bus time, so the two of us had to walk to the visitor center, about 4.5 kilometers away. The wind was strong, the temperature was -1.5 degrees Celsius, and it got dark quickly. The further we walked, the more scared we became. We tried calling the scenic area, but no one answered. Finally, we called 110 (the police emergency number) and asked them to contact the scenic area staff. After hanging up, a Li Auto electric scooter passed by, and the driver stopped and readily gave us a ride to the parking lot. We chatted along the way, and the driver said he was from the Space Capsule Hotel. His surname was Wang; he was probably the owner or manager. We were extremely grateful to him and will definitely stay there again next time! The first photo was taken on the way to the visitor center.

梅韵芬芳The scenery in the scenic area is beautiful. The only regret is that it was foggy in the morning, so we didn't see the sunrise. The mountains and water are beautiful. It's a pity that we didn't have time to walk the whole Runwu Valley. I will definitely go again if I have the chance!

M43***08It's alright. Since it's in the city center, you can stop by the Giant Buddha Temple on the way to Mati Temple. The main attraction is the reclining giant Buddha; the rest is so-so, it depends on your personal preference. But I don't know much about this kind of history, so I don't have much to say.

猫小妖333The number of visitors was absolutely enormous; you were basically just being pushed around by the crowd. I saw the Flying Horse of Gansu and the Little Girl with the Curtain-like Hairpin. There weren't many exhibits inside; pottery made up a large portion. Overall, it was alright. I hired a guided tour, so at least I didn't just wander around aimlessly.

vtf***34It's good in all aspects. However, the management needs improvement. There are obvious instances of local government vehicles entering the core area of the scenic spot directly without taking the sightseeing bus. To improve the overall quality of the scenic spot, it needs to be managed according to market standards.

Anonymous userIt's a less-visited attraction, recommended for those interested in history. During the off-season, it's practically private; taking the sightseeing bus to a designated spot inside the park for photos is highly recommended. Currently, the off-season ticket price is 50 yuan and the sightseeing bus is 20 yuan, which is reasonable, but compared to other attractions mentioned, the ticket price and bus fare are both about 10 yuan cheaper each.
