Indeed it was crowded, Fast Pass highly recommended if you are a thrill seeker or if you want to take the highly popular rides. Otherwise, waiting time can range from 70 to 90mins even during non peak hours.

The area is very nice and interesting. Need to be on time based on the booked time slot as visitor will enter based on batches . If you would like dressed up for the tour, can be there early to buy yourself the costume and magic wand . It is very nice experience .

Awesome experience!! So many aquatic animals plus the great barrier reef was so beautiful 😍. The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is widely considered one of the best aquariums in the world and a highlight of a visit to Osaka. Visitors often describe it as an exceptional experience due to its massive scale, innovative design, and breathtaking main exhibit. The overall vibe is highly immersive, taking you on a journey through the "Ring of Fire" marine habitats of the Pacific Rim.​The most praised aspect of the aquarium is its architecture and the sheer size of its central tank, which provides a unique and memorable viewing experience.

There weren't many highlights. It was a reconstruction of an old building, which explains why there were so many modern architectural details. There was a lot of explanatory material, but not many original artifacts; it seems that apart from the foundation, there's not much from the Toyotomi Hideyoshi era. The extra stone museum ticket wasn't really worth it. You just go in, look at the pile of stones from the foundation, and then leave. The Japanese are really something—they managed to put together an exhibition of such a small amount of material.

I consider it as one of the best aquariums in the world. It has wide range of marine life in well-maintained exhibits. Everything looks in order. For me, the feeding of whale sharks and sight of manta rays, are the highlights, giving me and the boys one of the best immersive experience. The boys enjoy the dolphin show, recording it all down to enjoy it over again. The park around the aquarium has scenic views too. Overall it’s a pleasant experience.

It's a bit far, so we chartered a car. There are speed passes available for purchase. But since I don't speak English or Japanese, I just had to wait in line. My private guide wasn't available today. We'll have the itinerary tomorrow. If you're not good at foreign languages, ❌ but have the money, find a private guide. Any recommendations?

Worth a visit. In winter this place transform into a magical wonderland. Good place to take photograph too.

Worth a look if you like animals and are visiting nagiya. Enjoeyed the dolphin show and most of the exhibits. Food expensive as per theme parks, but plenty of other places to eat as you leave. Nice area right on the port, good place for a break from the city.
