印象西南5 stars! A charming ancient town in the hometown of overseas Chinese, full of culture and everyday life, worth savoring at a leisurely pace. A must-visit in Tengchong! This ancient town, known for its harmonious community, avoids the hustle and bustle of over-commercialization, offering only the tranquility of mountains and water and a rich cultural heritage. I stayed for two days and didn't want to leave! The 80 yuan ticket is valid for 7 days, excellent value! The key attractions are all worth checking out: the Heshun Library, inscribed by Hu Shi, is stunning; its rustic wooden structure holds a century of scholarly atmosphere, and books can still be borrowed today. The adjacent Wenchang Palace, with its carved beams and painted rafters, reflects the ancients' reverence for knowledge. The Cun Clan Ancestral Hall and Ai Siqi's Former Residence hold the legends of the hometown of overseas Chinese and the caravan trade; a leisurely stroll will allow you to learn a great deal about history. The most delightful surprise is Wild Duck Lake, where the water reflects the blue tiles and white walls, and in the early morning you can see egrets flying by—every snapshot is like a traditional Chinese ink painting. Highly recommend staying in the ancient town! I chose a guesthouse near Longtan, a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with a wooden courtyard adorned with bougainvillea. The manager even recommended off-the-beaten-path routes. A relaxing soak in the local hot springs in the evening was incredibly soothing; some guesthouse owners could even help with discounted hot spring tickets. The food was all authentic, home-style cooking: rice noodles with fried dough sticks were irresistibly fragrant, and pine flower cakes were refreshingly sweet. Cured meats and sausages hung from the rafters, exuding a warm, rustic charm. Transportation was convenient; a direct bus (No. 6) from Tengchong city center took me directly there. The ancient town's winding alleys were perfect for a leisurely stroll. In the morning, the stone paths were still glistening with dew, elderly people washed clothes by the river, and vendors at the early market hawked their fresh fruits and vegetables. In the evening, climbing to a higher point allowed me to watch the sunset gild the rice paddies, the evening breeze carrying a sense of tranquility. One small reminder: be wary of the herbal medicine vendors in the ancestral halls; avoid being scammed. Overall, the town boasts a simple and honest folk culture, with a moderate level of commercialization, making it feel more authentic and unspoiled than Dali or Lijiang. Whether you're interested in history and culture or just want a place to relax, Heshun has something for everyone. I'll definitely bring my family next time!

_YX***10Walking into the Rehai Scenic Area, you can see steaming springs everywhere, especially the Rehai Boiling Pot, which is bubbling with hot air. I also soaked in the Rehai hot springs, which have both sulfur and carbonic acid springs, drawn directly from the Rehai Boiling Pot. It was the first time in my life I had ever enjoyed such a comfortable hot spring.

柳絮sThe mangrove forest is very beautiful and perfect for taking photos. The air is fresh and the scenery is beautiful. There are birds there, including what appears to be egrets, which are very pretty. Next to it is the Haigeng Dam where you can see red-billed gulls.

印象西南5 stars! A rendezvous with the ancient pulse of the Earth – the geological wonders are breathtaking! The Tengchong Volcanic Geological Park is a must-visit in Tengchong, a true treasure trove favored by nature! As a 5A scenic area, it perfectly preserves millions of years of volcanic history. Stepping inside is like entering a natural geological museum, offering an unparalleled experience. Upon entering, head straight to the Volcanic Geological Museum on your right. The combination of educational information, specimen displays, and multimedia interactions is incredibly intuitive. Understanding volcanic formation before exploring the attractions doubles the immersive experience. For families with children, don't miss the Volcanic Science Experience Hall, with its 4D simulated volcanic eruption and other engaging activities that allow kids to learn while playing. The park's electric shuttle bus is a great deal at 15 yuan round trip, taking you directly to the foot of Xiaokongshan and Dakongshan, saving you the hassle of walking. Xiaokongshan is incredibly welcoming. A little over a hundred steps lead easily to the top. The crater is perfectly round and expansive, and a boardwalk allows you to circle it, symbolizing "good fortune coming." Looking down, you can see the crater bottom covered in greenery, while looking up, you're greeted by expansive mountain views. Although Dakongshan has over 600 steep steps, making the climb a bit strenuous, it's absolutely worth it once you reach the summit! The panoramic views of the continuous volcanic cones and vast lava plateaus, some areas retaining charcoal-black geological traces, make it seem as if you can touch the remnants of ancient volcanic eruptions. The vistas are even more magnificent than those of Xiaokongshan. For a different perspective, a hot air balloon ride is a must! Arrive before 8 am for the best experience. Around 280 yuan for a 10-minute tethered ride, a straight ascent and descent, offers a clear view of the entire crater of both Dakongshan and Xiaokongshan. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, every shot is a masterpiece (note that the ride may be cancelled due to bad weather, so please confirm in advance). For those with less stamina, horseback riding is an option. A round trip to Dakongshan costs 180 yuan, and someone will lead the horse throughout the journey, making it very convenient. The scenic area tickets are very cost-effective, and the preferential policies are thoughtful, offering discounts for seniors, children, and students. The entire tour takes about 4 hours, combining hiking and sightseeing with educational activities, making it suitable for families, couples, or groups of friends. I highly recommend everyone come and experience this breathtaking sight from the depths of the earth; it's absolutely worth the trip!

西格玛 123Late November to early December is the most beautiful time of year in Tengchong Ginkgo Village. The golden ginkgo leaves, the thick "golden carpet," the ancient village, and the wisps of smoke rising from the chimneys—the scene is truly beautiful.

Anonymous userThe hot spring area isn't very large, with indoor pools (each with a separate fee), outdoor pools, and an outdoor pool. The water is very smooth, the hygiene is acceptable, and the service is good. It's primarily known for its high cost-performance ratio. It's more convenient to get there by car. We took a taxi, and when we left, we had to wait a long time to get one.
