Wuli Lake Ecological Wetland Park

Both the West and East sections are man-made attractions, but the natural scenery inside is better. However, the trail design is unreasonable, and the 12 flower islands do not form a connecting loop. We only visited 3 islands and returned via the same route.

It's so beautiful, with tons of activities; there are so many attractions just a short walk away. Inside the Aimeng Park, there are many adorable animals, and you can even feed them. You can also get up close and personal with the animals.

I never expected to find such a beautiful private garden on the North Anhui Plain. The front courtyard features southern-style pavilions and towers, while the rear residence boasts northern-style blue bricks and gray tiles—definitely worth a visit. Many women in period costumes come here to take photos.

The scenic area is quite large, with boats, four-person bicycles, and two-person electric scooters available for hourly rental. The trees are mostly newly planted and several years old, and there are many wild reeds along the lake, making the water feel like a wild field. There are bridges, pavilions, and waterside terraces, though not as many as at West Lake. I recommend paying to take the scenic electric scooter for a ride around before finding a better spot for photos. The scooter drivers are very helpful; you can call to book one. Having visited all four of China's four West Lakes, mission accomplished!

The park is not big and is open for free. It takes less than an hour to walk around. There is a large lotus pond in the park. Since it is autumn, the lotus has disappeared. It must be beautiful in summer. The lake is rippling with blue waves, fish are swimming in groups, and several black swans are foraging on the shore. The sweet-scented osmanthus in the garden exudes a refreshing fragrance. Under the Wenfeng Tower, there is a winding stream and lush forests and bamboos. It is very quiet and hidden in the surrounding bustling city.
