Xuzhou MuseumLocated at the northern foot of Yunlong Mountain, the original site was the former palace of Emperor Qianlong during his southern tour in 1757. To the southwest of the museum is the Western Han Dynasty quarry site, to the southeast are the Qianlong Palace and Stele Garden, and to the north isYunlong mountain - Tushan han tomb. Among them, the museum is the core; as the saying goes, "To see Han culture, look to Xuzhou," and the artifacts unearthed from Xuzhou's various Han tombs are gathered here. The fact that you can see jade burial suits sewn with gold thread, silver thread, and copper thread all at once is enough to delight any cultural relic enthusiast. On the first floor of the museum, the Deng Yongqing Collection of Calligraphy and Painting Gallery displays the ink works of masters such as Bada Shanren (Zhu Da), Qi Baishi, and Xu Beihong. On the second floor, the "Tiangong Han Jade”The exhibition hall is worth a visit; the jade burial suit sewn with gold thread unearthed from the Chu King's tomb at Shizishan is displayed here and is a "treasure of the museum." Of course, some visitors find the jade-inlaid lacquered coffin beside it even more impressive due to its massive size; the jade coffin was also unearthed from the Chu King's tomb at Shizishan. In addition, jade burial suits sewn with silver thread and with copper thread are also in this exhibition hall. TwoIn the "Han Dynasty Grandeur" exhibition hall of the building, there is a silver tortoise-knob seal of Liu Zhu from the Guishan Han Tomb, and this silver seal has quite a story behind it., was picked up by the electrician working inside the tomb who was participating in the excavation, and was later acquired and recovered by the museum, and from this it was determined that the tomb owner of the Guishan Han Tomb was Liu Zhu. The "Golden Spears and Iron Horses" exhibition hall displays various ancient weapons; the "Graceful Figures in Splendor" exhibition hall exhibits pottery figurines from the Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty. Han figurines have abstract forms, Northern Dynasties figurines are delicate and dignified, and Sui and Tang figurines are graceful and opulent; among them, the musicians and dancers figurines unearthed from the Chu King's Tomb at Tuolanshan are particularly striking, with slender Chu waists and long sleeves, trulyReflectthe aesthetic tastes of the Han dynasty Chu state. The exhibition halls on the third floor also display porcelain, bronzes, gold and silver wares, and fine furniture from the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties through the Qing Dynasty. The Qianlong Palace on the southeast side of the museum is not large; in its courtyard there are a small bridge, pavilions, and rockeries, and compared with the compactness of Jiangnan gardens, it looks somewhat more open and spacious. It introduces the story of Qianlong and Xuzhou, and several stone steles stand there. The quarry site on the southwest side of the museum looks at first glance like an ordinary green belt and is easy to miss. Due to inadequate protection, only part of the site remains; through the glass floor on the ground, the underground quarry site can be seen, some site structures are scattered on the green space, and some exposed rock faces left by quarrying can also be viewed. The earthen mound Han tomb on the north side of the museum is the tomb of a Pengcheng king of the Eastern Han, and visitors can go down into the tomb pit; in the Pengcheng King's Tomb Unearthed Artifacts Exhibition Hall behind it, artifacts unearthed from the tomb can be seen.Xuzhou · 1.5km from downtown

Visiting a real tomb-turned-tomb site for the first time, I was truly awestruck by the wisdom of the Han Dynasty people. The anti-theft notice written by Liu Zhu, "There's no silver buried here," was also quite interesting and a novel experience. Outside, there's a beautiful garden, many interesting stone carvings, and plaques treasured in the Imperial Edict Museum—it was quite impressive.

I happened to be there during the chrysanthemum exhibition, and the all-inclusive ticket was quite cheap. The scenery inside was nice, and Bird Island was also quite interesting, with shows and various activities. You can easily spend a morning exploring at your own pace.

Yunlong Lake boasts a vast expanse of clear, clean water, nestled against the lush Yunlong Mountain, creating a picturesque and soothing landscape. A leisurely stroll along the lakeside path, with a gentle breeze rippleing across the surface, is incredibly pleasant. The popular submerged walkway is a must-see, offering close-up views of the fish, shrimp, and aquatic plants, making you feel as if you're walking in the middle of the lake – a truly immersive experience. The scenic area is rich in attractions, including the elegant Xiaonan Lake, the rustic Sugong Pagoda, the beautifully designed Fanyue Bridge, the Xuzhou Concert Hall, and the popular "Ten Thousand People Beach." Every step reveals a new vista, making every snapshot a potential photo opportunity. During the day, enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views; in the evening, watch the sunset; and at night, the lights reflecting on the lake create a gentle and tranquil atmosphere.

The scenic area is large; it's free to explore the outside, but you need to buy tickets to enter. Buying tickets in advance offers discounts. The Chu King's Mausoleum is definitely worth seeing. The Han Dynasty terracotta warriors are smaller in scale compared to the Qin Dynasty, but the underwater terracotta warriors are a unique feature. Walking around to see them all can be a bit tiring, so you can take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan, which allows you to cycle through the area.

Yunlong Mountain is free to enter. It's not very high, making for an easy and relaxing climb. The mountain is lush with trees and hides historical sites such as Fanghe Pavilion and Xinghua Temple, each bearing witness to stories left by Su Dongpo. From the viewing platform at the top, you can enjoy panoramic views of Yunlong Lake and the entire city of Xuzhou. The maglev slide is a unique feature; this small mountain in the heart of the city combines natural scenery with historical charm, making it a very pleasant place for a leisurely stroll.

Hubu Mountain in Xuzhou, along with Pengcheng Square next to it, should be the largest tourist hub in Xuzhou. Add to that the several food streets nearby, and if you're visiting Xuzhou, you can stay here. One advantage is that if you come to Hubu Mountain around noon, after a morning of exploring, you can take a bath at one of the old-style public bathhouses. There's also a large hall with beds where you can rest for a while.

Central Axis Walking Route: Mountain Gate Square → Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils Statue → Seven Buddha Hall (the largest main hall in China) → Tongtian Pavilion (59.88 meters high, the tallest Buddhist pavilion in China) → 37.5-meter-long Nanhai mural. Secret Tip: Be among the first to enter the temple at 7:30 AM to experience the morning mist and the aroma of incense; walk three clockwise circles around the Tongtian Pavilion to pray for blessings. Photo Spots: Tsutenkaku: Stand in front of the main hall and shoot a wide-angle, upward-facing panoramic shot; shoot a profile shot with the jade railings in the foreground from the east corridor; and capture a silhouette of the Buddha's feet at the foot of the Maitreya statue. Other Locations: Hold a lotus flower in the lotus petals of the Thousand Buddha Pagoda; the red-walled, black-tiled corridor is perfect for photos in Hanfu (Chinese traditional clothing); and the side window lattices of the Seven Buddha Hall can be used for framing.

The speed limit in the self-driving area is reasonable, so you won't be rushed. The animals are densely distributed along the way, so you don't have to wait long to see them. The park's roads are smooth with few bumps, and you can feed the herbivores up close by rolling down the car windows, which kept the kids very excited.
