Phoenix Mountain of China

Qishixia Drifting

Phoenix Mountain is known as the most dangerous mountain in eastern Liaoning! Its bizarre rocks and peaks, the thrilling Old Ox Back, and the stunning cliffside walkway offer breathtaking views. The mountain path is steep, so be sure to wear non-slip shoes; gloves are also recommended.

This relatively off-the-beaten-path attraction wasn't crowded, especially during National Day and the vibrant red maple leaves. However, I was very impressed. There are several service areas within the area, limited shopping options, but plenty of restrooms. The scenic area's shuttle buses are very convenient and don't have to be full before they depart. We recommend arriving by bus and exiting on foot. The trails primarily follow the river, with numerous pavilions and terraces offering rest and photo opportunities.

The scenery here is beautiful and the construction is very good. There is a river surrounding the scenic area, and there are beach cruises. The environment of taking a boat around the mountain is really intoxicating. I went here on May Day and it was green everywhere. The mountain scenery was beautiful. There were all kinds of flowers 🌸 in full bloom in the scenic area. It is worth a look!

I've been there once before, and this time I had a different feeling. The overall scenic area is good, and some individual attractions need maintenance. It's very convenient to drive in. There are a lot of fallen chestnuts on the road, but the management staff reminds us not to pick them up easily. They are all planted by local people, which can easily cause disputes. There are a lot of apples and pears on the mountain, and you can't pick them without paying. There are local people watching every few sections, which makes you feel like you're guarding against thieves. Maybe some tourists don't realize it and have no choice but to do it. Overall it's worth a visit
