Day trip to Prison Island and Nakupenda
We left from our hotel and arrived at the port of Stone Town.
First stop was Prison Island, where many beautiful turtles wander around an area of the island. All that remains of the prison is the structure, now used as a bar and other businesses.
Then we went to Nakupenda.
The tide was low and the sandy strip was long. The water was crystal clear and transparent. We could snorkel and sunbathe.
We then had a BBQ seafood lunch with fresh tropical fruit.
The tour was organized by the beach boys in front of our hotel.

At the end of our stay in Zanzibar, we wanted to organise a bespoke private tour of Stone Town to include hotel pick-up and airport drop off with our luggage.
Mo and his team sorted it without any problem and at a very fair price.
Mohammed, our driver and tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable.
