Dany was very friendly and kind. The tour is as described. It is worth seeing, however if you don't have much time in Chiang Mai you will have to take into account the fact that there is a lot of road. Plan to have some cash for the entrances to the White Temple (100THB) and the museum (80THB), the Blue Temple is free but you can plan between 20 and 45 THB to get an ice cream there. As for lunch, there is a buffet at 150THB but otherwise there is also a kind of buffet / flunch / canteen where you can eat for 60 THB. This is also very good. Have a good stay and thank you again to Dany for his patience and kindness.★

It is indeed a very long journey, starting at 7:00 am and return at 10:30 pm. The roads are under construction (as of Oct 2025) so you have to be prepared for a bumpy ride in some sections of the road. The temples are more of a commercial side rather than real temples, but then they are designed beautifully. While I really didn't get the details of what our tour guide was talking about, (perhaps due to some language barriers), the whole journey worth to try it once (but not any second time 😂 )
