We took the tour from Te Anau. We stopped at many places on the way to Milford Sound, allowing us to take photos. You can buy lunch on the Milford Sound cruise, or bring your own. We were grateful for the free coffee, tea, and water. We were able to see many incredibly high cliffs and really get a feel for the sheer scale of the place.

A fabulous afternoon on the lake and through the caves. The caves and glow worms were amazing. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend it. Don’t leave NZ without doing this!!

our bus driver John was superb. his knowledge and passion for the area was remarkable. I'm from Pembroke in West Wales and grew up opposite St Anne's Head at the mouth of the river Cleddau. Milford Sound was stunning and the weather was great. Glass topped bus made for great viewing enroute and back to Te Anau. Highly recommend 👌!

We are a family of 5, all in our sixties. The tour is nicely organized with breaks for sightseeing and toilet. Bus even has a transparent top for viewing, definitely recommend for those who prefer not to drive to Milford sound.


