Nice tasting room. Tables were set for the tasting with water available and breadstick to cleanse the palate. All wines were white (no reds on this one), and the prosciutto plate was perfect to bring out the flavors of the wine. We took a short walk to overlook the vineyards and discuss the limestone and volcanic black soils in the region. The guides were very pleasant and accommodating to english speakers, willing to converse with me although everyone else was Italian. Not wanting to detract from everyone else, I used Google Translate Conversation to interpret the tour and Gemini to read up on each of the 5 wines as they were being served. I enjoyed it and look forward to getting back to tour the area. Arriving just before the 5pm start time was too late to see the Castle and the beautiful little town. Recommend arriving earlier in the afternoon to take in the sites.

Bangkok traffic is terrible on weekdays, but Ctrip made good arrangements; we flew to Bangkok on the weekend. The only downside was that the group meals were sometimes insufficient. There was no forced shopping, and there were many optional excursions to choose from, depending on your budget. The tour guide service was good. There were 18 people in the group, which was a good number. The Sheraton in Bangkok was truly excellent; the facilities were great, much better than hotels in Phuket.
