Things to do in Seoul

Seoul, the capital of South Korea, pulses with energy—day and night. Nestled along the Han River and surrounded by mountains, Seoul has served as the cultural and political heart of Korea for over 600 years. Today, its skyline is dotted with gleaming skyscrapers, royal palaces, and hillside temples—all coexisting in a uniquely Korean rhythm. From the royal grandeur of Gyeongbokgung to the trendsetting streets of Hongdae, Seoul attractions continue to draw global attention and reward visitors with fresh discoveries each season. Winters can be icy, while cherry blossoms and crisp air make spring and autumn perfect for exploring—Seoul weather plays a big part in setting the scene.

Reviews: Nami Island + The Garden of Morning Calm One Day Tour (From Seoul)
Guest User2026-02-01
We had just the right amount of time for everything, so we didn't overdo it or get tired. The guide spoke good English, thanks for sharing stories and for his efforts. I arrived during the off-season, and Nami Island wasn't all that impressive, but otherwise, everything was great!
Reviews: DMZ Day Trip: Third Tunnel/Dora Observatory/Imjingak / Optional North Korean defector meet-up

Our tour guide was Yoon from Seoul City Tour and she was very funny. It's very apparent that she's a veteran as a tour guide, with great story telling skills. The information she gave was very interesting and told in an amusing manner. The tour itself was mostly interesting, especially the first part, Imjingak, 3rd Tunnel, and Dora Observatory. However, our last stop was the Reunification Village which was more of a short (sanitary) pitstop before heading back to Seoul, where they try to sell as much merch as they can to us tourists. We were lucky with the weather that we could still see a bit of North Korea at the observatory but it's a pity that the JSA tours are suspended indefinitely. I would have liked to visit the blue building from the south side this time. We had enough time at all the stops and I didn't feel rushed (which I read about with other tours). The one thing I didn't like was that our tour guide had to beg for good reviews.

Alex was a great tour guide; he was attentive and professional.
Reviews: Winter Special | From Seoul: Eobi Valley + Nami Island + Morning Calm Arboretum
Guest User2026-02-25
This was a great way to start this amazing vacation in Korea. Even though it was warmer than expected, the ice sculptures were nice to see. Nami island was nice and would love to come back in the spring since during winter the trees are bare. The arboretum was lively with lots of lights. It was a magical place to wnd the tour with. Our guide, Sean, gave us lots of interesting tips and the place chose for lunch (you own expense) was truly delicious!
Reviews: Winter 1-day tour from Seoul: Strawberry picking + Eobi Valley + Nami Island
Guest User2026-02-24
Our guide, Mario, was a professional and attentive tour guide, and our family had a wonderful time on this trip. For example, when we went strawberry picking, he patiently explained how to pick strawberries and introduced some delicious local products. He also patiently answered our questions when we encountered any. The itinerary was also well-planned, with enough time to take photos at each attraction.
