An excellent excursion. The day before, we received information via WhatsApp about the meeting point, along with the car's license plate number and the driver's phone number. The weather was a bit of a concern—it started raining heavily just before the excursion began. Nevertheless, the trip went ahead. We managed to see monkeys, stroll around the fort, have a delicious dinner, and, of course, see fireflies. A truly mesmerizing sight. Of course, the weather played a role, and the fireflies only flickered in the bushes. Taking photos was extremely difficult, so we just admired them. The glowing plankton wasn't that impressive. Either there wasn't much of it, or the weather wasn't right. You sweep a net through the water and occasionally see tiny blue flashes. Overall, I enjoyed everything.

nice and friendly driver! Took us to quite few places such as Sekinchan other than the main activities. The first Seafood restaurant he brought us to wasn't that great but dinner was better! Overall experience was great, sky mirror was pretty, could see many seagulls and eagles, many Fireflies at night! Unfortunately there was less blue tears, only could see little of them.

Unique experience, but really subject to weather conditions and planned timing of visit (avoid full moon period for higher chance of spotting blue tears and more fireflies). We visited when the moon was very bright, so there wasn’t a lot of fireflies and tried as hard as we did, barely spotted blue tears. Still worthwhile as a good half-day trip to connect with nature after spending time in the city. Do expect a long drive from KL city. Seafood dinner was pretty good and very filling, with a wide variety of local seafood, meat and veg dishes.
