This was my first time using an eSIM, and I want to say, you should definitely try it! It's amazing and very cheap. No need to switch SIM cards; you can set it up in Thailand and it works automatically when you arrive at your destination. It's fantastic! The signal is also great, and there's plenty of data. I used this for a temporary return to Japan. It's cheaper than Japanese budget SIM cards. Connecting is very easy; just tap the install button in the app. However, since the connection is outside of Japan, PayPay may not be available. Nevertheless, I would like to use it again.
