It was in incredible experience and a luck to find an aquarium to do it in totally safety. We saw "l'envers du décors", "behind the scenes" and learn many thing about it. The diving instructeur is very patient and alway watchfull. For old or young divers ; do it !★

Many thanks to Nico and the crew for a wonderful morning trip where we got to see both pilot whales and dolphins.
We were rescheduled from 2 days earlier, due to the poor weather, but re-arranging was straightforward and we got plenty of notice. On the day we did get to go out, the crew went out of the way to make sure that we felt at home, that we always had food and drink whenever we needed, and to help explain what we were seeing.
We also appreciated that the boat never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. Unlike some of the other operators which looked crammed full of passengers. So, yes you're paying more, but we thought that it was worth it.
A bonus was that one of the crew went around to take photos not just of the sea life but also of us.★

It was a lovely tour along the coast of Madeira. The guide told us a lot about the island and its history. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't ideal, but they made the best of it 😊 Even after the excursion, we were able to talk to the two guides and they gave us some great tips for our holiday.★

This is a must-do excursion for anyone visiting Madeira. The staff is very welcoming, the boat is clean and comfortable, and the buffet is excellent. Drinks are unlimited, and the white wine is very good. Those who prefer not to swim in cold water can even take a dip before eating. The sunset is magnificent. We highly recommend this activity, especially since it's a family-run business.★

Everything went perfectly, from exchanging the GYG ticket for the boarding pass on site to the punctual departure at 10:30 am. The meeting point was easy to find, and we were lucky that while there were quite a few people, it wasn't overcrowded. We first went out to sea and saw dolphins (though not very close), and after going further out, we even saw pilot whales. The crew is very careful with the animals, not getting too close and only staying at each spot for about 10 minutes to avoid stressing them. Afterwards, we headed back towards the coast below the cliffs and then returned quite close to the shore, exactly as described. There's also a toilet on the catamaran and a small bar where you can buy drinks. The captain sometimes comes around and shows photos and information about the dolphins he's seen, but not necessarily in such detail to everyone. Overall, it was a lovely excursion that we can recommend.
