The trip was nice although the call time at the end was much earlier than what I expected, which made me want to stay in Otaru longer. Also, I felt like the guide was quite pushy with buying some of the products (horse oil) at the stopover. Anyhow, the guide was quite nice to explain both stuff in English and in Mandarin, and he was responsive with my questions and requests to take photos, so the trip was okay. By the way, for this trip, it’s more of a you-go-around kind, so don’t expect the tour guide to show you all of the stuff.

This "Sapporo Shiroi Koibito + Otaru + Mipai Snow Park" tour, booked just for one person, was heavenly! ✅ Shiroi Koibito Park: The chocolate factory is like a fairytale castle. Stroll through the exhibits while enjoying the sweet aroma of cocoa, and you can even DIY your own chocolate 🍫. Perfect for making souvenirs – so impressive! ✅ Otaru Canal: The canal is covered in snow in winter, complete with retro gas lamps – so romantic you'd want to film a K-drama! ❄️ The glass shops and music box shops along the street are fantastic; even the little trinkets you pick up are incredibly exquisite. ✅ Mipai Snow Park: Kids from the south went wild! Sleds, ice slides, snowmobiles… so many activities you wouldn't want to leave. Who can understand the joy of rolling around in the snow! 💡 The amazing little details that enhance the experience ▫️Group tours are perfect for those with social anxiety; no need to wait for shared rides, and the schedule is flexible and not rushed. ▫️The itinerary is relaxed yet fulfilling, with ample time for photos and enjoyment at each attraction. Very convenient! Just walk straight ahead from the airport exit and you'll see the foreign visitor service station. The staff were very kind, gentle, and attentive, showing us how to use it. They even helped us choose the fastest train and seats. We used the ticket for our round trip from New Chitose to Noboribetsu, and then went to Otaru the following day, so the ticket price was already covered. The ticket holder was also very cute. Highly recommended!

The snow scenery in Hokkaido is beautiful, and feeding bears is a unique experience. However, Otaru is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace, allowing you to feel the stillness of time as snowflakes fall.
