The location is a bit out of the way; if you're not driving, it's a long walk, probably around 45 minutes. The deposit is 200 yuan per person, ski suits are 40 yuan, and lockers are 20 yuan each. The timer is based on a card; you swipe your card again after returning your clothes to stop the timer, and you get your remaining money back at the deposit counter. I went around 2 PM, and the ski resort had two beginner slopes open. It was my first time skiing, so I didn't hire an instructor. I just practiced on my own for a while, fell a few times, and that was about it. Contrary to what other reviews mentioned, the instructors didn't keep trying to persuade me to hire one. The instructors were very kind; when they saw I couldn't put on my ski boots, they came over to help me, and then left without saying anything. Buying tickets on Ctrip is much cheaper than buying them at the physical store. It's best to go skiing early; it's not cold when the sun is out. After 5 PM, it gets very cold after sunset. I hadn't had enough time, but it was too cold, so I left early.
