Excellent service, transport back to Nelson was great- top driver that gave us a commentary and dropped us back to our accommodation. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

The shuttle boat ride was similar to a hop-on hop-off bus tour. We traveled to the last stop, Totaranui, and then continued a short distance down the coast. The weather was initially cloudy and windy, but the sea was manageable. From Apple Tree Bay, we hiked for about two and a half hours to Anchorage Bay and then had two options for the return trip. Since we didn't take the earlier option, they contacted us directly via email to check if we were alright. The shuttle boat staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Snacks and soft drinks were available for purchase on board. There was also a restroom.


