We had an outstanding day trip with our guide Gonzalo. His enthusiasm and warmth made us feel right at home immediately. His knowledge of the local towns, history, sights and geography made this trip interesting and breathtaking and he went above and beyond to make this a great tour. The Sierras are amazing and definitely worth seeing in the winter, and we would highly recommend this tour.

It was very cold but the route warmed up around noon. The tour was excellent, Simon took good care of us and had interesting commentary to add regarding our surroundings. There were so technical downslopes to navigate so some mountain biking experience is definitely recommended, over all we had a fabulous time.

The wonderful guides also took good care of the older people. The beginning of the route was really challenging with steep climbs. If you have knee problems or asthma, I would carefully consider going. On the route, you had to crawl, hang, and go from suspension bridges at times. I did feel like a superhero when I completed the route. I recommend it to those in good shape.

We had a wonderful hike!! Julio was amazing- he told us loads of interesting information about the area, and was able to adjust the route for us in rainy weather. We would highly recommend this- it was so wonderful to get into the national park, after seeing it in the distance from Granada. Thank you Julio!


