Me and my husband went and we got to learn tons of interesting and amazing things about Rotorua and the sites we saw but also about New Zealand's early history, we loved knowing what our beloved Kiwis are called that name. It was wonderful to spend time at the spa, one of the most beautiful spa's we have ever visited. The view is just stunning. Our guide David was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and always ready to help us with anything we needed. He also showed us a place visited more by locals than turists and it was wonderful. This is a must do activitie!

We had never done this before but really enjoyed the warm mud pool and the sulphur pools. The staff were all lovely and guided us through the experience with care and attention. Really glad we gave it a go, our skin felt so smooth afterwards.

We had the BEST time at Hell's Gate. The guided tour was excellent thanks to Liam; very funny guy with lots of informative Māori stories. The mud bath was a really cool experience paired with the sulphur baths. The cold plunge is worth doing once ... that's more than enough! The wood carving was a fantastic way to finish the trip. I was expecting a bit of a tourist trap but it was 3 hours very well spent.
