A very decent option for those who value a stable connection and don't want to bother with local SIM cards.
The main advantage is real 5G. In Kuala Lumpur, Georgetown, and Penang, the internet was lightning fast. Maps loaded instantly, high-quality video played without any lag, and I could easily use Grab (the local taxi) and video call my family.★

The SIM card is fantastic. We connected it before departure, when there was still internet, so we could just turn it on upon arrival, but now we're stuck with the connection. Time starts ticking as soon as you connect the SIM card, but you never actively use it. The internet was flying, it worked everywhere, everything was great. We later extended it for a day, and everything was fine.★

I was impressed with the 5G speed. Singapore has excellent coverage: Marina Bay, the MRT, and shopping malls all had strong 5G. I had just stepped out of Kuala Lumpur airport, hit by a wave of heat, but my phone had no signal.
