The itinerary was well-organized, and the tour leader, local guide, and driver were all very nice. The meals and hotels were also excellent, meeting local 4-5 star standards and offering unique experiences. The entire trip was in 4WD vehicles, making it great value for money. The shopping stops were well-planned with no forced spending. We were lucky enough to witness spectacular moments such as wildebeest crossing the river, lions hunting, and cheetahs playing – a truly worthwhile trip. The layover time in Abu Dhabi on our return flight was a bit tight. Since our flight departed late from Nairobi, we basically had to run to the transfer gate upon arrival in Abu Dhabi. Having 2-3 hours would have been better, allowing us to browse the duty-free shops.

I transited through Bangkok on my way to Chiang Mai. It's a warm and quiet little city. I vividly remember the afternoon thunderstorm on Birmingham Road: taking shelter from the rain, jogging, the rainbow after the rain... In the sunset, there's always a coffee shop around the corner that feels both familiar and unique.
