Amazing visual show out doors at bottom of mountain. This was ticket only changed code at automated machine easily when arrived. 20.15 start approx till 21.45 we prebooked taxi back for 22.00 to avoid carpark carnage.★

Highly recommend! I was so engrossed in watching it that I forgot to take pictures! The atmosphere was fantastic, everyone was really into it, and the actors were all handsome men and beautiful women.★

Magical «Tianmen Fox Fairy» — a must‑see in Zhangjiajie!
We watched the «Tianmen Fox Fairy» show at the foot of Tianmen Mountain — and it was truly magical. The dramatic mountain landscape served as a stunning natural backdrop, and as dusk fell, dynamic lighting turned the Theatre Canyon into a mystical realm.
The performance tells a touching story of love between a mortal man and a fox fairy through expressive dance, acrobatics, and emotive music. The costumes beautifully blend traditional Chinese aesthetics with a modern twist, while the fusion soundtrack — mixing traditional instruments and orchestral arrangements — deepens the emotional impact. Special effects like fog, aerial performers, and water elements added to the enchantment.
The show lasts about 90 minutes and starts at 20:30. English subtitles make it easy to follow the plot, and the seating area offers good sightlines. Highly recommend!
