Arriving in Beijing on New Year's Eve, luckily the roads were all clear. Even the tour guide was remarking how quickly we got to the hotel; it seems traffic jams are a major problem in Beijing. Fortunately, the weather was also on our side during our trip – no smog. It was really great! We stayed in a nice five-star hotel, and had a wonderful New Year.★

It's a very small island, so it's never crowded. Even when the hotel is almost full, you'll rarely encounter other guests, except during mealtimes when everyone gathers at the single restaurant. You can go directly down to the coral reef from your room for snorkeling—it's peaceful and convenient.★

Simply fantastic! A wonderful boat trip around Ireland's Eye – with stunning views in sunny weather. Unfortunately, we missed the puffin season by about a week... So I would recommend checking beforehand. However, we did manage to observe some interesting birds. And – the absolute highlight – seals! The wild harbor seals prefer to spend their time further away from people, on a small rocky island... But at Bray Harbour, you can consistently see seals darting between the boats, hoping for food.Trip.com picks
