Reviews: From Pompeii: Bus Transfer to Vesuvius with Park Entry Fee

The transport is excellent, as it takes you directly to the entrance of Mount Vesuvius. However, the walk from the regular parking lot to the entrance is long, monotonous, and boring (along the road). Subtracting the €11 entrance fee per person for Vesuvius from the total price (€39 per person), you're left with €28 per person for the bus ride. That's too much, especially with a full bus and limited space.

We had the best time on this excursion, everything from start to finish was amazing. The tour of the island itself was spectacular, so many beautiful sights and swimming spots. The food was delicious, the guides were lovely! Would absolutely recommend booking, we wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Anna was our guide and she was wonderful. She explained everything to us throughout the trip and answered all our questions. She offered us a boat trip in Amalfi, which was a fantastic idea. Special mention to Rosario, a great driver. And our guide in Pompeii, Darío, was excellent. It was a wonderful day, and thanks to all three of them.


