The itinerary before lunch was arranged by the tour guide on the bus, and we weren't given tickets. Tickets were distributed during free time after the boat ride. Because several bridges were under repair, we wasted some time wandering around. Luzhi is a small place, and prices are relatively lower than other more famous ancient towns. The group-buying price was really good. I will continue to keep an eye on it and hope Ctrip will recommend more new and affordable tours.

Our tour guide, Shanshan, was consistently warm and genuine, from her welcoming smile to her proactive help with route planning and patient explanations of local customs and traditions. She was never perfunctory. Our guide, Xiao Liu, anticipated every need of ours, handling every detail perfectly. Her explanations were clear, her responses were prompt, and she truly answered every question and fulfilled every request. Throughout the trip, we felt incredibly well taken care of without any pressure. This professional and sincere service made our journey much warmer and more reassuring.

I'm a European tourist and I have to say booking my ticket through Trip.com was incredibly easy. I was contacted via WhatsApp by a staff member who kept me updated on my ticket status and all the important information. The museum itself is huge, new, and modern. The museum grounds are large and green. Getting there by public transport was a bit of a hassle, though. There is a direct bus for tourists from Chunxi Road, but I couldn't find the departure point and ended up taking the subway and then Didi (a local bus) on the way there, as the connecting bus never came. On the way back, I simply hopped on the direct bus to Chunxi Road, which was super easy.

It's so rare! Our guide, Ms. Liu, was the only one who used a tablet to show us various knowledge points, connecting history to tell us a story, enriching the Sanxingdui tale, and making history three-dimensional. What was presented to us was not just the artifacts themselves, but also the history behind them. History encompasses various dimensions of time and space. When we look at artifacts, we don't just look at the artifacts themselves and the cold text descriptions. We need to use explanations to bring the ancient life contained in the artifacts back to life. Ms. Liu was very good, extremely good.
