The eSIM was installed without any problems before arriving in Hanoi. However, there was an unfortunate incident at the airport: the internet was practically nonexistent. We couldn't download maps or the trip.com app to find a transfer. It was a nightmare in the noisy airport—luckily, we found a handwritten sign with names and headed into the city.
I'm not giving the customer support a rating because I didn't contact them (activation was automatic when I turned on my phone in Vietnam). I was ready to buy a physical SIM card, but outside the airport, the connection worked immediately and hasn't dropped since.
Now our vacation is coming to an end: the internet connection was excellent in Hanoi, Da Nang, Bana Hills, and Hoi An. No problems. So don't panic at the airport—apparently, network congestion played a nasty trick on me. Otherwise, everything was great, I recommend it!★
