Global esim was fast even in our layover in Bangkok. The Kazakhstan esim was also fast. I can even use it as a hotspot in my other phone. It connects easily upon landing and started up in about 15 minutes. I rebooted my phone but I'm not sure it activated because of this. I guess you just need to wait.
