The beachfront hotels are similar to most resort hotels, but the Royal Peterman Hotel in Ubud is nestled in the mountains, featuring individual villas with swimming pools and a river that flows through the hotel for rafting – quite unique. Local prices are reasonable; a car hire for a day with a driver costs USD 30. Overall, it was a good experience and worth returning to.
My flight was delayed by a day, and the hotel arrangement was changed to a 1+2+1 package. The fact that the two hotels were far apart wasn't clearly explained, making the trip quite inconvenient.★

The park is huge. Definitely take the electric cart!
Entering the park in the morning felt wonderful. It was misty, a bit chilly, and surrounded by lush greenery—the air was incredibly fresh!
I visited the artificial area and also hiked the Green Stone Forest. Finally, I stopped briefly in the tropical area, but after the hike, it didn't seem so appealing anymore.★

I booked a bus ticket, but it turned out to be a car. The upsides were that it arrived quickly and the driver was excellent, very nice and chatty. Initially, Trip.com informed me that I would have to change vehicles, which worried me because of the language barrier. They asked me to add them on WeChat, and I had to write in English for better communication. The driver was kind enough to drop me off at my accommodation, saving me some money on transportation. If you encounter a similar situation and manage to contact the driver, take photos of the waiting area and yourself and send them to the driver so they can find you.
