I was unsure about the meeting place, so I came to check it out beforehand, confirmed with the staff that it was the right place, and then made a reservation on the spot. The staff were very kind! Each gondola holds 5 people. The ride takes about 30 minutes. If you're not particular about the route, I think this experience is great! However, there was no walking guide as described.

learned so much. the guide had an amazing knowledge of the area, and was able to navigate us through horrendously busy streets with the carnivale on! she ensured we still got the best of our tour and saw a different part of Venice!
