We met Giacomo, who arrived punctually at the meeting point, dressed in full pirate—or, as we later learned, corsair—attire. Before our very eyes, Giacomo transformed into his alter ego, "Alonso de Contreras," who, during the evening tour of Valletta, took us on a journey through his life as a corsair in the service of the Knights of Malta. He entertainingly and knowledgeably intertwined the turbulent episodes of his life with the history of the island and the landmarks in Valletta. Almost as an aside, he let us in on dark secrets that aren't found in any guidebook... A fantastic experience that we highly recommend! P.S.: Please note that the tour is conducted in English.★

Romina was great, telling a lot and very friendly. Had a lot of food, more then expected. And everything was also very good and sometimes surprising too (for example the coffee and chocolate). I would really recommend to anyone
