Well I guess you have to be a bit lucky that you see the vulcano erupt. It usualy erupts a lot, but we only saw it once. Overall it was a nice trip and worth it.

We were the last excursion boat to sail around Stromboli and were actually able to see beautiful fountains erupting from the volcano in the dark. This is the trip to choose if you want to experience exactly that. Thank you so much!

Setting up the trip and showing up were so easy because they reached out via WhatsApp (I don’t have an Italian phone). The trip was so much fun because, Joe, the boat driver ensured everyone had fun. We took a boat ride around to see some points of interest (Grotto Azzure) and he showed us wild capper plants. We talked about different fish we saw. We jumped off the boat and snorkeled Isola Bella beach rocks and some other rock formation. The water was refreshing and not cold. I highly recommend! Show up 30 minutes early and you get to leave early! Italy is beautiful and the people are nice. Such blue water!


