Unfortunately, we couldn't take the eastern tour as planned due to strong winds, but the guide, sensing my disappointment at the change of plans, was simply fantastic. We talked the entire trip, and she explained perfectly everything we saw along the coast and all the types of whales and dolphins that live in these waters and are often spotted. She's clearly very knowledgeable and well-prepared, and she speaks perfect English, which isn't a given on the island. The boat is clean and nice, and the captain is very good at keeping the seas smooth. If I may offer one piece of advice, I'd suggest making more than one stop for swimming.★

We were taken to our start point and provided with the bikes and enough tuition to make them go. We had limited experience of e-bikes and Rosie was very reassuring. The trip was nicely planned, making our way from the relative isolation of Ponta Sao Laurenco to “downtown” Funchal, where Rosie was, again, on hand. Thanks to Rosie for her expertise (and flexibility), in making our bike ride go so smoothly.★

The booking, pick-up, and transfer went perfectly. The driver was really friendly, and we had a lot of fun during the transfer. Due to a closure of the PR9, we had to make last-minute changes with the tour operator, which also worked out perfectly, and we did the fantastic Levada do Lorano tour instead. The combination of levada walking and coastal hiking made it incredibly varied.★

The bikes were excellent & I can’t believe how easy we managed to climb the steep inclines.a good experience although a little uneasy at times for us as we’re not experienced cyclists on the steep winding roads . Overall I would highly recommend.★

Reviews: Diving in the Madeira Aquarium

It was in incredible experience and a luck to find an aquarium to do it in totally safety. We saw "l'envers du décors", "behind the scenes" and learn many thing about it. The diving instructeur is very patient and alway watchfull. For old or young divers ; do it !
