We had imagined quite a lot when we booked. It was supposed to be a gourmet lunch, but we felt they took the easy way out. The starters and desserts were of a very low standard; the main course was a nice and tasty piece of meat, but nothing else. Keep in mind that the wines on board are steeply priced.

Had a wonderful time, despite rain. They sent a bus. Our driver was very knowledgeable about wine, the area, and the wineries we visited. At each of the 4 wineries we learned, tasted, and were entertained. we had lunch at one of the four. I do wish we had the option to add cheese or bread to the tastings at the other wineries. Anyway great way to get a sampling across the region!

We visited 3 wineries and tasted 21 different wines! Our guide Army was very knowledgeable and friendly. He kept us engaged throughout the experience. I highly recommend this trip - it is definitely worth the price. A few suggestion as you will be drinking A LOT of wine: eat a breakfast before the trip, drink water during the trip, and eat the snacks provided at each tasting.
