These five days flew by, like watching a two-hour movie, but the breathtaking scenery was unparalleled. Of course, our experienced driver, Brother Bao, was indispensable throughout the journey, from the forests of the Greater Khingan Mountains to the grasslands along the Ergun River, from the villages of Genhe and Aoluguya to the hillsides of the Ribbon River. Brother Bao is a true Hulunbuir local with years of experience leading tours, so "knowing the roads like the back of his hand" perfectly describes him. He not only has extensive driving experience, knowing both old and new routes between destinations, but he also drives smoothly and makes timely stops at scenic spots, allowing us to get out and take photos to our hearts' content. At the attractions, needless to say, Brother Bao takes care of everything; we just need to relax and enjoy ourselves. Brother Bao's photography skills are also top-notch, so feel free to take group photos—with Brother Bao around, everything will be perfect. Along the way, in addition to the natural scenery, Bao Ge, a local, also shared a lot of background knowledge and historical stories about the cultural landscapes, as well as the real life of the grassland herders. In short, it was a comprehensive experiential journey, full of gains, and we were very reluctant to leave. The grassland is so vast, and there are still many different scenes at different times waiting for us to experience, so we will come back again next year!
