Amazing tour, helpful guide as well!!! Doing tour is actually cheaper than getting there on your own. Itinerary wise is acc not too rushy rushy so that’s great!
Reviews: Departing from Nagoya | Day Tour to Explore Takayama & Shirakawa-go's Gassho-zukuri Villages World Heritage | Optional Shirakawa‑go Illumination

The itinerary is very compact, but fortunately there is a bus transfer and a tour guide to explain the whole process, saving the trouble of checking the traffic by yourself, it is really convenient! Shirakawa Township is super beautiful, and the morning market of the missile alpine is also very interesting. It is a bit in a hurry. After shopping on the street, taking pictures, and going to a shrine, you have to gather. The ramen and roast meat recommended by the tour guide look very attractive, but unfortunately there is no time to eat, and I will make up for it next time.

The itinerary was well-planned, and the Chinese-speaking tour guide was excellent. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Miyamoto, and the handsome driver were incredibly kind (treating us like family and friends from afar) and professional (their excellent time management at every point and deep understanding of the local culture and environment), making for a wonderful and unforgettable journey for all the passengers. Before disembarking, everyone spontaneously applauded in gratitude. We were also incredibly grateful to have encountered the second major blizzard of the year, and to have enjoyed the abundant, gentle snow in the Gassho-zukuri village. ☺️

Picked up point was nice and easy to find and to get to, staff very friendly! Tour was great, coach driver was very good the monkeys was amazing! If you love to see animals in the wild then this is one to see. The walk is very slippery so make sure you have good foot wear, not Jordan’s or other smooth bottom shoes otherwise you may slip up. Like myself! They do offer you to by shoe spikes at the attraction but I didn’t think it would be as slippery as it was! Well worth the trip! No pun intended
